HAPPENINGS

It was great to see so many bowlers at the club today with a great turnout of 52 players.

Nominations for district events and seniors are still open. They will close on 16 November. Check the notice board for the sheet.

Melbourne Cup day is coming up quickly. The sheet is now on the board. It should start around 10am. Nibbles will be provided, you will have to buy your own lunch.

Minor singles have started, games have been drawn and players should check the board for more info. Play begins at 9am this Tuesday 31 October. Losers will be required to mark the next game.

Twilight bowls is now running on Thursday evenings with a 6pm start. It is a jack attack triples format and is lot of fun. Cost will be $10pp.

We are still needing entries for minor pairs, please consider entering if you are eligible. It’s an excellent way to learn for all you new players.

Welfare: To anyone who may be feeling unwell we would like to send a little get-well sunshine your way.
