Kew Men’s Bowls News.

The final two teams have been decided in the major minor pairs Frank Raczka and Terry Miles will play Leslie Faulstone and Charles Doyle in the final after a nail biting win over Dave Napper and Ian McLaren on Wednesday afternoon either side could have won the game and it was not until the last bowl was played that the winner was decided.

Wednesday social and the winners were Jeff Nichols, Paris Hilton and Ian Poole, the runner up money went to Stewart Wellard, Adrian Hilton and Terry Stringer. Vouchers went to Paris Hilton, Paul (Wingy) Hancox, Adrian Hilton and Mick Ashford.
The mixed pairs are underway with some very good bowls being played by all teams. Jean Donald and Bill O’Donnell def Nolene and Rob Edwards, Irene Creed and Rocky Davis def Sue Hardwick and Pat O’Connor, Betty Jorgenson and Doug Long def Jenny Easy and Max Blair, Chicka and Kim Thompson def Angela and Terry Stringer and Wendy and Barrie Isaac def Carol and Gary Cheers.

Saturday cashpot triples winners were Jeff Nichols, Paul Hancox and Pat O’Connor, 2nd Barry Westaway, Rick Pratt and Warren Barnes and 3rd T Wilson, Percy Fry and Terry Stringer. Vouchers went to Ian Collins, Frosty, Wayne Thrussell and Ron Hale.

All intending pennant players there is a list on the board if you would like to represent your club please add your name to the list for an idea of how many teams the club will nominate

Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are on this week JP worth over $400 names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days.
