RDA and Westpac Helicopter Fundraiser Day Saturday the 7th of October at the Kew Country Club new bowlers welcome as coaching will be available on the day names in by 11am Saturday for a 1pm start. The cost will be $12 per person or $25 per family come along it will be a fun day for all the family. Wednesday social and taking home the money to help with the phone bill was Peter Richards, Mick Bate and Budgie Brecard. The pair’s team of Lisle Crossing and Wayne Thrussell picked up the runner up prize. Vouchers went to Tony Austin, Chicka Thompson, John Gemmell, Charles Doyle and George Wise.
In the major minor pairs Leslie Faulstone and Charles Doyle def Reggie Robb and Bill O’Donnell, Dave Napper and Ian McLaren def Bob Sims and Mark Hammond and Leslie Faulstone and Charles Doyle def Paul Hancox and Rob Edwards. The semi-finals have been decided with Leslie Faulstone and Charles Doyle to play Chicka Thompson and Barrie Isaac in the other semi-final Frank Raczka and Terry Miles v Dave Napper and Ian McLaren. Best of luck to all four sides.

Saturday cashpot triples 1st place Les Allport, Graham Conen and Charles Doyle, 2nd place Frank Raczka, Dave Napper and Peter Laing and 3rd place Jeff Nichols, Mick Ashford and Frosty. Vouchers went to Stewart Wellard, Mick Ashford, Charles Doyle and Rod Sutton.
Wednesday social and Friday Jackpot triples JP worth $354 are the bowls this week for all enquiries phone the club on 65594203.
