Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

In the major / minor pairs the semi finals are Phil Baker  V  Jack Lewis and Greg Brims  V  Mark Parry. The s/f will be played on Saturday 21 October am, and the final in the afternoon.

Annual green renovation will start this week ( October 16th) starting with green 3. This means Wednesday and Friday bowls will be triples and depending on numbers Thursday could also include triples.

The ever popular club challenge started today ( October 16th). Our men’s silver and Mixed Gold teams played away at Woolgoolga. Results next week.

Mixed pairs entries close 16/10 with the 1st and 2nd rounds to be played on Sunday October 22nd.

Twilight bowls starts Thursday 19th October at 6pm and will run for 6 weeks. Cost is $10 per person per week. Contact Phil for further details.

Congratulations to Wayne Evans, Paul Brady and Judy Scholz who were elected to the board of Club Ltd for a three year term.

Melbourne Cup Day Tuesday November 7th. We will be having mixed triples from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Nibbles provided and prizes to be won. Entry fee is$10.Entry forms are available at the kiosk.

Saturday 28th October, we are entertaining approx. 35 bowlers from Talarah B.C. It will be mixed, with lunch followed by bowls at 1 pm. See the sheet on the board.

Presentation Day is set for 16th December. Further details as we get closer to the time.

The PCMBC bowls calendar for October/November is on the notice board.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Wiggly Tail Butchery. Also club ltd badge draw at 7 and 8 pm currently stands at $3500
