A little reminder also to see Lorraine for any shop needs as she had a new supply of sun sleeves and marker pens so it may save you a trip into town.

From me this week a little apology on a few errors over the last few weeks- in one of my reports I had typed Major and Minor when it should have been Major/Minor championship sorry if that had confused anyone. My other error was the title for the Judi and Wendy’s Champion of Champion Pairs as some of the correction were done by the paper and some weren’t I did try to get my error corrected put only half the job was done so I am very sorry to Judi and Wendy, and any of the girls who take offence to me getting the name wrong in my report.

Also, don’t forget to please check the notice boards in our room, our local newspapers, Lake Cathie web page, Port City’s blog by Brian Smith and our Lake Cathie Facebook page for any photos, updates, results and general information for us and our area, so if our reports are missed in the paper you can also find information somewhere and if you still can’t find what you are looking for see your committee they may be able to help.

Reminders for the month- tickets will be on sale soon for Melbourne Cup next month so you might want to start thinking about getting a table together and not leaving it to the last minute as it sells very quickly.

To all our friends who are unwell or recovering we send you are best wishes and hope to see you all soon.
