LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB   -   WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 8th October 2017

 

Mondays BBQ Mixed Triples Social Bowls produced a winning combination of Peter Ascot-Evans, Ron Morris and Peter Richards, and the lucky losers rink saw the team of Reg Penney, Denise Penney and Dick Engel taking out the prize.

Thursday’s Men’s Muffti Social Bowls produced a winning triples team on the day of John Gillett, Ian Howes, and Ray Stokmanis. The runners-up were Glenn Ferris, Denis Begley and Stephen Grimshaw with the lucky losers rink going to the team of David Parr, Graham Wiggins and Doug Rose.

There was no Social Bowls played on Saturday due to the Clubs two day Annual 2017 President’s Big Bowl Pairs Tournament being played over both the Saturday and the Sunday.

The team of John Hrabak and Matt Carter from Port City took out the tournaments 1st Prize and close behind for 2nd was Chris Ballam and Graham Conen from North Haven. 3rd went to a combination team of Phil Lindfield from Taree Leagues  and John Williams from Kempsey RSL. 4th went to Geoff Worley and Gary Knox from Lake Cathie, with 5th going to  Paul Webster and Don Ramsay from Port City. The 6th place went to another combination team of Chayne Edwards from Terrigal Bowling Club playing with his grandmother Lois Wright from the Lake Cathie Women’s Bowling Club.
