Report for Tuesday 23/1/2018

Tuesday Mixed Bowls-9.30 am start-Uniform or neat and casual. Welcome all members and visitors to this competition. Come along and enjoy a pleasant morning game of bowls with a happy group of players. Margaret and Ron Coombes can be contacted on 65813264 or 0422816063 if you would like to come and enjoy a pleasant morning of bowls . Bowlers to meet upstairs at the Club Community room before bowls.

Winners were N. Burley, R. McCabe, K. Mc Cosker, A. Kesby. Raffle winners were D.Burley, P. Cummings, B. Nall. Half jackpot won by R. Ferris, B. Nall, P.Cummings.

Thursday morning ladies day- 9.30 am start- Uniform or bowls attire . Selectors for 31/1/2018 and 1/2/2018 are Colleen Purnell 65840396  or 0428128756 and Leonie Laws 65836262 or 0422496128 . Water and flag Betty Oliver and Di Todd. Thank you Debbie from Perfect Nails by Debbie for her ongoing support won by Julie Fraser. Winners on rink 18 were L. Godson  C. Chandler, T. Emery, L. Laws . Runners up on rink 17 were J. Fraser, Y . Hansell, B. Oliver, D. Parry. Raffle winners were L. Condello, M. Allen x2.

 Congratulations to Carol Owen , Margaret Coombes, Denise Penney and Gerry Lavender on winning the  district fours . And Carol Owen, Denise Penney and Margaret Coombes on coming 3rd in district triples . Well done girls .

It was a fantastic day For Australia Day celebrations at Westport. Aussie flags and attire for a fun morning game of bowls and lunch . Thanks to all involved .
