LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB
WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 28TH
JANUARY
Steve Philp and Brett
Meyer moved through to the next round of the Major Pairs Championship this
week, defeating Rom Reeves and Bob Fischer in round 3.
Bill Farrell, Rosemary
McCabe and Maurie Whitechurch took the winning rink money on Monday. Barry
Armstrong, Doug Rose and Peter Ascot-Evans were the lucky losers.
On Thursday Bill
Metcalfe, Mike Storrier, Doug Porter and Gary Knox were winners, runners-up
were Phil Smith, Steve Webster, Laurie Bayliss and Glenn Tiley and the lucky
losers were George Ganic, Derek Wright, John Javis and Bill Bailey.
Saturday’s winners were
Keith Clarke and Dennis Hamilton. Dennis Begley and Warren Dark were happy to
take the lucky losers prize. The jackpot did not go off on and will be worth
over $600 next Saturday.
The ladies’
pennant teams want to compete against the men on morning of Saturday 10th
February. There is a sheet on the notice board for you to register your name.
Play in the morning and play your usual game in the afternoon. You only have to
pay once. Get two games for the price of one.
