The Port City Men's Bowling Club Newsletter for April 2018 is now available thanks to Colin Halls.

2018 men’s single champion is Callum Murray. In an almost carbon copy of last year’s grand final, Callum defeated Bruce Anderson 31 – 27. A large crowd was on hand to witness an enthralling final. There can only be one winner, but congratulations to both players.

Pennants 2018 will finally get underway on April 28th ( with the exception of grade 7 who have a bye). Port City will have a side in all 7 grades. Good bowling to all players.

Due to wet weather the 2018 Mayor’s Sporting Fund Bowls Day has been rescheduled to Friday 4th May. There will be a BBQ at noon followed by bowls at 1pm.

Social bowls as usual on Anzac Day.
Thursday April 19th – Veterans Day.
2 bowl handicap triples – May 16 – 18th
Port Macquarie mixed pairs – June 8 – 9-10.
Jax Tyres Grade 6 & 7 2 bowl triples, June 15 – 16 -17
Port Kia Prestige Pairs – July 11 – 12 – 13.

Flyers for all these events are available at the bowls kiosk

Green fees for pennants/trials have been set at $5.

The Kranky Koala award for April goes to.........Leigh ( 2 down) Hardingham.
