WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 1ST APRIL
The Major Singles Final will be played next Saturday afternoon between Vic Ley and Cliff Fay following Cliff’s victory in a hard-fought game against Mick Brennan yesterday. Good luck to both players and congratulations on reaching the final.
In the second round of the Minor Pairs Denis Begley and Warren Dark defeated Ken Pritchard and Jim McGill.
On Monday, Phil and Christine Power, visitors from Lalor in Sydney teamed up with Vic Hayhurst to collect the winning rink prize. Peter Harris and Stewart Wellard were lucky losers.
Thursday’s rink winners were Gary Knox, Doug Porter and John Campia. Runners-up were Warren Taylor, Syd Cochran and Hilton Hadfield. David Parr, Brian Pearce and Alan Bigg were happy to lose and collect the money.
On Saturday Warren Dark and Bill Mahon walked away winners while Ross Fuller and Des Hancox lost and collected the lucky losers prize.
