Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.


2018 zone 14 state championships at SWR our triples side of Callum Murray – Phil Baker – Craig Donaldson went down to the Park Brach side 18 – 22. However the state zone singles champion for 2018 is Callum Murray who defeated Park Beach 31 – 25. Congratulations to Callum who is having a great year.


Congratulations also to Judy Brady who won the ladies 2018 singles defeating Barbara Standen in the final.


2018 men’s major pairs – John Hrabak defeated Craig Ainsworth in one semi. Trevor Scholz plays Richard Trow in the other semi on Sunday 29th April at 9am. The final is in the afternoon at 1 pm.

At long last 2018 pennants gets under way on Saturday 28th. Note new start time of 12.30.

Get your entries in for the 2 bowls handicap triples, May 16 – 18. Handicap must be minimum of 13 based on pennant grading.

The rescheduled Mayors Sporting Fund Day is on Friday 4th May.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm. Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s Butcher Block. The Club Ltd badge draw stands at $4000, with draws at 7pm and 8 pm.

Jackpot $670 was not won.

Friday: Winners ($20) Rivers Murray – Terry Hill – Bruce Chapman. Runners Up ($10) G. Lees – F. Gulyag – J. Reilly. Lucky Losers ($10) N. Gavin – B. Jux.

The $830 jackpot was won by Keith ( Mr Peterborough) Scotney


Sunday: On a rather showery afternoon – Martin Wallis missed the $120 jackpot.
