Saturday morning the first semi-final of the major singles was played Big Kev Wholohan went into battle against Charles Doyle and what a great semi- final is was with the lead changing all the way through the game one player would get a few shots lead then the other would pick their game up and square the match sadly only one player could go into the final and Big Kev kept his cool to win a super game of bowls. Congratulations to you both it was a pleasure to watch two champs in action.
Wednesday social winners Jimmy (wrong bias) Race, Gary (pink panther) Cheers, and Rod Sutton, the runner up prize went to Ray Elliott, Adrian Hilton and John Gemmell. Voucher winners were Frank Raczka, Ian Hodgkinson, Sparra and Daryle Barr.
Pennant players please tick your name of the sheet for the
trial against Lake Cathie on Saturday if you are unable to play please let one
of the selectors know ASAP.
Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls
this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
A new format will be in play for the next Monday Monthly
Pairs it will give all bowlers a better chance of taking home some spoils more
to come next week.
