Major Singles Champion Cliff Fay with Vic Ley
LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB
WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 8TH APRIL
With a clinical display
of draw bowls, Cliff Fay defeated Vic Ley on Saturday and showed why he is our
2018 Major Singles Champion. Congratulations to both Cliff and Vic.
In the Minor Pairs
Championship 2nd round, Geoff Delamotte and Charlie Duthie defeated
Bill Mahon and Doug Wright; Ray Downes and Rob Eldridge defeated Glenn Fuller
and Syd Cochran.
Rink winners on Monday
were Ron Campbell, Keith Lawton and Dick Engel. Lucky losers were Charlie
Duthie, Pete Richards and Veronica Stewart.
Thursdays’ winners were
Keith Miller, Paul Dewson and Ken Norberry; Brian Gorman Vic Austin and Bill
Mahon were runners-up. Kerry Deas, Vic Hayhurst and Roger Miles were happy to
collect the lucky loser’s prize.
Keith Woods and Peter
Griffith were Saturdays’ winners; Geoff Worley and Charlie Duthie were happy to
lose. Well, maybe not happy; they took the money anyway.
