Report Weekending 31st March 2018.
Hope everyone had a lovely Easter with friends and family and that you didn’t eat too much chocolate.
Our final for the Major Singles Championship for 2018 was played on Tuesday the 27th March and it saw Anne Wilson defeat Marilyn Dewson in a great game right to the end. Congratulation to both ladies.
The rounds that were played before the Major Singles final in March were M Peasnell defeated B Owens, A Wilson defeated S Stokmanis, M Dewson defeated L Thompson and J Sloggett defeated A Butlin. Then A Wilson defeated M Peasnell and M Dewson defeated J Sloggett.
Social bowls for Tuesday 20th March saw I Ganic, P Monaghan and H White as the lucky rink winner and the runners up were L Thompson and V Wilson.
Saturday 24th March saw the lucky rink winners of J Grimshaw and S Stokmanis and the runners up were M Peasnell and L Thompson.
Tuesday 27th March saw A Wilson and D Lynch as the lucky rink winners and S Malzard, A Armstrong and H Millard as the runners up.
Social Bowls for Saturday 31st March saw S Stokmanis and J Sloggett as the lucky rink winners and H White and R Hancox as the runners up.

To all the families and friends of our club who have lost loved ones recently we send you our condolences and know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
