A reminder that Port City is a non smoking venue. It is Illegal to smoke on the greens or on the surrounds to the greens.
The men’s club by laws are currently being reviewed, particularly as relates to our dress code. It is a timely reminder that for social bowls, neat casual attire is acceptable with a collared shirt. Singlets do not fall into this category. The amended by laws will be posted on the notice board.
Also for club championships, team events, teams must be dressed the same ie all in the “old uniform” or all in the newer representative uniform. Teams who are not dressed accordingly have the very real risk of being disqualified.
Pennant Update.
Grade 1: On Saturday 20th May at Taree Leagues, our grade 1 play Tuncurry with the winner progressing to the state finals. Good luck and good bowling.
Congratulations to the ladies grade 1 who defeated Tuncurry at SWR to win the zone flag and now compete in the state finals at The Entrance mid August. Also to grades 2,3 and 4 who also made it through to the zone finals. A great year for the ladies.

Prestige Pairs with $6500 in prize money July 12th to 14th.
Also when paying your match day fees ($10) you can now swipe your card and earn points, just like any other purchase at the club. If you have enough points on your card you can use them to pay your fees. To cut down on delays it might be easier to give your membership card and money to your skip, and he will do the rest when picking up the card.
Please take the time to visit our facebook page which is being regularly updated by Phil and others.
