LAKE CATHIE MEN’S BOWLING CLUB   WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 7TH MAY, 2017

On Saturday, the last game in the Zone Pennant play-offs did not go the way we had hoped with Grades 3, 6 and 7 all losing to better teams on the day.  Grade 7 did finish up with the Zone Runners Up plaque so well done to them. Congratulations to all the players in the three grades and thank you all for representing our Club.

Steve Grimshaw continued his winning way during the week to reach the final of the Major Singles and will play Geoff Worley on Friday morning. Come along and enjoy what should be an interesting match.

There will be another great match on Saturday afternoon, when Phil Smith and Doug Porter play Jim McGill and Ken Pritchard in the final of the Minor Pairs. Entrance is free to both games so come along and be entertained.

Social bowl winners on Monday were Vic Ley, Esther Bailey and Bill Bailey with R. Bigg, Allan Bigg and John White the lucky losers.

On Thursday Peter Steggles, Warren Jamison and Bill McMurtrie were rink winners. Runners up were Gordon Gray, Graham Wiggins and Peter Slattery with lucky losers Roger Hall, Steve Webster and Glenn Tiley.

Ray Stokmanis and Peter Slattery were the grinners on Saturday with Graham Platt and John Morgan th lucky losers.
