Tuesday 2nd May 2017  HAPPENINGS

Debbie welcomed bowlers and special guests Carole Graham and Adele Podje to the unfurling of the flag and the presentation of the Pennants' badges.

She mentioned that a Club has not won the 4 major Pennants since North Haven in 2004.  Well done girls!  She thanked the selectors for a job well done and to Judy Scholz, Pat Light, Joy Ebbeck, Rosemary Roach, Jenny Wallis and Robin Kean who filled in when required.

Congratulation Cards have been received from Margaret Edwards and from Nola, President of the NHWBC.  Valda Munns also sent congratulations to the teams.  Carole presented Debbie with a cheque for $1600 from the District to help with the costs at South West Rocks.

The Region 2 Pennant Play-off will be held on 15-16 May at South West Rocks.  The bus will depart the Club at 8.00 am on these days (for those booked on the bus).  Good luck girls…………………………………………………………………GO GIRLS!!!!!!!
