WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 30TH APRIL, 2017

Jim NcGill and Ken Pritchard have booked a place in the final of the Minor Pairs Championship against Phil Smith and Doug Porter with their win during the week. Date to be decided. Well done to both teams.

The Pennant Play-offs resulted in a win by Grade 3 against Hat Head 9/0. Grade 6 crash landed 1/9 against Macksville setting up an exciting finish next week, requiring a win against Kempsey RSL to have a chance. Grade 7 won 9/1 against Wauchope and are looking good for a finals win. Good luck and good bowling to our Pennant teams.

On Monday, the winners were R. McCabe, M. Whitechurch and B. Farrell. Graeme Bowers and Peter Harris ran off with the lucky loser’s prize.

Thursday’s rink winners were John McCartney, Graeme Bowers and A. Lloyd. Runners up were Harry Weegan, Vic Hayhurst and K. Peas. Doug Porter, Syd Cochran and Gary Knox were the lucky losers. They then went on to win the major jackpot of $760 shared with the other team members, but alas, not with one who declined to take part. The minor jackpot also went off on Thursday.

On Saturday Vic Ley and Graham Denton were grinners while Terry Stringer and Wayne Garvan were happy to lose.

Do not forget that Classic Pairs is on Wednesday 10th May.
