Day 2 of the popular $12,000 Energy Australia Classic Singles at the Yallourn BC in Victoria has been completed. It's great to see "evergreen" John Snell involved after a winning his section on Monday.

Another excellent day of bowls at Yallourn Bowling Club. The day
started with the news that Malaysian Champion Safuan Said was unable
to play due to problems with the Immigration Department upon his
return to Australia.
Section 17 Gary Ball had strong wins over youngster Frank Krislovic
and Yallourn President Norm Forbes.
Section 18 R Holaj defeated C Thomas who then defeated P Wootten by a
wide margin which was enough to win the section after Wootten defeated
Holaj.
Section 19 Rohan Dennis had an early win over L Williams who then
defeated Denis O'Keefe with O'Keefe then defeating Dennis by 1 shot
leaving Dennis the section winner.
Section 20 T Ristic had a great battle with J Arnold winning by 1 shot
and then in the last game to finish he defeated R Travica to live for
another day.
Section 21 Barrie Lester was in fine form defeating A McIsaac and G Mclean.
Section 22 Ron Witton had a good win over Lisa Phillips however James
McCausland beat both players to win the section.
Section 23 C Parker had good wins over D Ashby and M Gardiner.
Section 24 Josh McCormick returned to his former Club with good wins
over Jan Morton and "Paris" Hilton who was unable to repeat his
success of 12 months ago when he knocked Matt Flapper out of the
competition.
Section 25 Alan Grubb defeated G Lasky who defeated Dave Smith who
then beat Grubb. Grubb and Smith were tied on 1 win each and Grubb
won through on percentage.
Section 26 Richard Gale and John Taborsky played off after bother
defeating Mick Basile. In a nailbiting finish Taborsky won narrowly
to advance to Wednesday's play.
Section 27 A Rees defeated P Hodgson and A Alexandrou to win the section.
Section 28 Mark Stoney lost to inaugural winner Neville Brown and
defeated B Penney by a big margin. The ever confident Brown was
unlucky to lose by one shot leaving Stoney to progress.
Section 29 Ian Hilsley Traralgon had good wins over G Chilcott and J Backman
Section 30 Last years winner Chris Le Lievre had strong wins over M
Lee and T Kuklinsky after adapting from the super quick New Zealand
greens.
Section 31 Brendon Baker became the fourth Kurri Kurri NSW player
through to the final day after having wins over J Horwood and S
Kennedy. Kennedy had the chance to win the section losing by one shot
in a very good game against the former champion.
Section 32 Canadian Champion Kelly McKerihan had a strong win over G
Woods before narrowly beating J Wasiukiewicz in an interesting match.
