On Wednesday, 11th January President Sarah Missio welcomed everyone to the days bowls. Today saw the ladies enjoying games of pairs, triples and fours but unfortunately the heat got the better of the ladies with most rinks retiring after about 10 ends.
Today’s winners were (Rink 15) Julie Sloan, Flo King, Sarah Missio and Diana Upcroft with the consolation going to (Rink 17) Di Brittian and Dawn Olsen. All these ladies received vouchers to be used at our good club sponsor “Hastings Fresh Meats” and we thank them for their much valued support of our club.
The
day’s raffle winners were Bonnie Leeson who won 1st prize, 2nd prize
was won by Di Brittian with 3rd prize being won by Ruth Henning.
Members
are reminded that the “Bowlers Friday Night Raffle” is on again this Friday at
the Hibbard Sports Club with tickets on sale from 5pm. There will be 22 great
meat trays as prizes which are supplied by “Hastings Fresh Meats” and the cash
