A Reminder also that Tuesday is ladies day, please guys no rolling up until after 2pm.

New Port City bowls cloths have arrived. They cost $5 each. See Phil to purchase one.

The first championship for 2017 , the club fours has been decided, when I left Jack Lewis team was just in front of Greg Brims team. Full details next week.

Bowls for balls fundraiser played over 24 hours January 25 and 26 was a huge success raising over $3500. Thanks to all the teams and players who participated. Also thanks to Phil Baker and Paul Jacobsen and other volunteers who kept the event running smoothly.

The PCMBC bowls calendar for January and February is on the board. The full 2017 calendar is on our bowls web site under “Calendar 17”

The zone 14 southern section representative trial will be held at Port Panthers Bowls Club on Saturday 4th February starting at 9am. A list of players selected to play in this trial is on the board. Congratulations and good luck to all selected players.

District triples and fours, nomination sheets are on the board.

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Wiggly Tail Butchery.

Social Bowls: Please note we would encourage social bowlers be back in the club by 4pm to allow for a timely presentation and raffles. No dead ends Thank you for your co operation.

Saturday afternoon bowls is on again starting at 12.30 pm with a jackpot.

Sunday: 40 bowlers on rather a warm afternoon.
The $198 jackpot was not won.
