On Wednesday, 25th January President Sarah Missio welcomed everyone to the days bowls. Today saw the ladies enjoying games of fours.
Today’s
winners were (Rink 15) Kay Sadler, Estelle Long, Sue Moy and Gae Millican with the consolation going to (Rink 15) Julie
Sloan, Jill Diffey, Flo King and Sarah Missio. All these ladies received vouchers
to be used at our good club sponsor “Hastings Fresh Meats” and we thank them for
their much valued support of our club.
The
day’s raffle winners were Julie Sloan who won 1st prize, 2nd prize
was won by Marian Hume with 3rd prize being won by Di Brittian.
Results
of 100 club 246 drawn on the 25th Jan are: - 1st No 59 Grace Munro, 2nd
No 80 Jack Shales and 3rd No 66 Fred Wollaston. Members are advised
that 100 club tickets which cost $2.00 each are on sale all week with 1st
prize getting $60.00, second $30.00 and third $10.00. 100 club 247 will be
drawn once all numbers are sold.
Members
are reminded that the “Bowlers Friday Night Raffle” is on again this Friday at
the Hibbard Sports Club with tickets on sale from 5pm. There will be 22 great
meat trays as prizes which are supplied by “Hastings Fresh Meats” and the cash
jackpot will be worth $160.00 this week if won.
Members
are advised that the draw is on the board for our Pairs Championships with 1st
round games to be played on or before the 18th February.
Next Wednesday, 1st February our social bowlers
will be playing triples. If you would like a game please put your name on the
