Geoff Worley, Tommy Reeves and Reg Penney’s teams move on to the next round of the Club Fours Championship with wins this week. While the fours are being played, don’t forget to get your entry in for the Minor Singles. Closing date is Sunday 22nd January.
Taking advantage of the weather after Monday’s washout Ray Stokmanis, Roger Miles, Laurie Bayliss and Reg Penney not only won their Fours match, they picked up the winning rink prize. Dennis Hamilton, Ron Allen, Tom Reeves and Phil Innes were runners up and Gordon Gray, Graham Wiggins, Ken Taylor and Peter Slattery were lucky losers.
On Saturday under threatening skies, Max Heslehurst and Graham Fairburn were the winners. Lucky losers were Chica Batts and Steve Webster.
