It was great to see so many of our players participating in our Club Triples Competition today. Please check the board for further information about your next game.

The Club Fours final was played last Thursday between B Schubert and J Schiemer. It was an excellent game with an exciting finish; at the end only 4 points separated the two teams. J Schiemer 23 def. B Schubert 19.

 At Westport Club this Thursday 26 July, Beth Schubert and Julie McKay will represent our club in the Senior Pairs regional playoff. Lyn Zahra and F Schollum will be playing in the Open Pairs on the same day. It would be great if you could come along and support our players; a cheer squad is always welcome.

Well done to all our new committee members. We wish them much success transitioning into their new roles.

Earlier this month Margaret Halliday represented our club in the Bowling Arm Competition held in Newcastle. Although she did not go through to the next round she had lots of fun.

Congratulations to Cath Woodham for winning this year’s non Pennant player award.

Westport Triples Carnival is coming up 15 & 16 August. Entries are in the locker room folder.
