Weekending 1st July 2018
The Final of the club Fours Championship was played on the Tuesday 26th June 2018 with our winners being Mary Simmonds, Robyn Jones, Vera Hamilton and Jill Howard who defeated Lyn Thompson, Anne Wilson, Dianne Fischer and Sharon Stokmanis in a frilling game till the end.
Social Bowls on the 26th June 2018 our lucky rink winners were M Avery and T Banks and the runners up were L Moore, R Bigg and M Heslehurst.
Friday the 29th June 2018 the first round of the Club Triples started, and the results are as follows...
L Thompson, A Wilson and D Fischer defeated P Saddler, J Roth and L Fuller.
P Kelly, J Howard and D Teiffel defeated D Lynch, M Duhigg and M Avery.
W Byers, J Blackler and S Stokmanis defeated H Durrant, M Peasnell and V Hamilton.
R Downes, B Owens and S Malzard defeated N Castles, H Millard and A Pritchard.
C Knox, V Bayliss and L Moore defeated P Begley, L Watson and R Hancox.
M Dewson, A Innes and F Brassey defeated M Simmonds, R Jones and A Todd.
P Murphy, V Stewart and F Croome defeated P O’Brien, J Grimshaw and A Butlin.
Social Bowls for Saturday 30th June 2018 saw N Scott, D Spinks and J Wilson as our lucky rink winners and the runners up were W Byers and J Blackler.
