Kew Men's Bowling Club
The pennant season has come and gone for another year we tried our best but just couldn’t get there 2019 will be bigger and better so hopefully all the players from this year will line up once more.
To all members of the Kew Bowling club the AGM for 2018 will be held on Saturday the 11th of August at 10am at the Kew Country Club followed by an afternoon of bowls to thank all of our pennant players for their commitment and effort in 2018. Members are also invited to get involved in the running of the club as all positions on the board will be declared open, there will be a sheet on the board for those who will be attending please help by getting your name on the list ASAP to help with catering.
Wednesday social and winners for the afternoon were Leslie Faulstone, Jim Trigg and Wayne Thrussell, the runner up dosh went to Jeff Nichols, Ian Poole and Rocky Davis. Vouchers winners were Dave Napper, Warren Bates, Frank Raczka and Steve Hall.
Friday jackpot triples and the jackpot will go back to $200 after Dick(I never win anything ) Davies, Denis Chiddy and Mick Stuttard picked up $250 each plus change well done lads must be your shout. Vouchers went to Peter Richards, Dave Napper, Kevin Wholohan and Ray Allan.
In the club triples Howard Burrows, John Gemmell and Dean Gemmell def Stewart Wellard, Pat O’Connor and Wayne Thrussell.
I would like to say a big thank you to Billy O for looking after the paper and the fours while I was out of action very much appreciated mate.
