HAPPENINGS

This week we had an excellent turnout of 50 players.

There will be no bowls this Thursday 12 July due to Port Kia Prestige Pairs being played on the 11, 12 &13 of July. Why not come along to watch, there should be plenty of good bowls.

Please check the draw for Club Triples which is now on the notice board. Remember it’s important to always check the board for competition games, as times and days of play may vary.

Port City AGM and Committee Meeting will be held at 9am on 23 July in the Bowlers Lounge, all are welcome.

Nominations are now open for the Westport carnival to be played on 15 & 16 August.

We would like to wish our new players S Woods and G Wiget, a warm welcome.

Women’s Bowls NSW are pleased to announce the introduction of a brand new event, conducted at District level. The Summer League is specifically aimed at providing State title achievement possibilities for members who cannot play at our usual weekday times. Therefore, it is mandatory that every game in the Summer League must be played after 6pm during daylight savings time (October to March). Watch this space for more Info.                

Welfare: Lovely thoughts go out to all those who are not feeling well. We hope to see you back on the bowling green as soon as possible.
