Week ending Sunday 29th July 2018
Monday’s BBQ Mixed Social Bowls winners were Brian Jux and Bob Kohut. While the lucky losers were Reg Penney, Denise Penney and Bill Metcalfe.
Thursday Winners were Steve Webster, John Mc Cartney and Roger Hall. The runners-up were Gavin Law, Richard Springett and Harry Hicks. The lucky losers were David Parr and Roy Peasnell.
Saturday winners were Cliff Fay and Keith Martin. The Lucky Losers were Charles Duthie and Vic Hayhurst.
Results for the Triples Championship (semi-final): Geoff Worley, Ron Allan and Steve Townsend defeated Cliff Fay, Harry Hicks and Ross Tinmouth. This game was a cracker and could have gone either way with an extra end played to decide the outcome.
Results for the Mixed Pairs (Round1): Bob and Di Fischer defeated David and Joan Parr. Dennis and Vera Hamilton defeated Vic Austin and Anne Todd.
(Round2): Geoff Worley and Anne Wilson defeated Phil and Anna Innes. Warren Dark and Lyn Moore defeated Dennis and Pam Begley. Ross and Liz Fuller defeated John Kennett and Jan Greer. Ray and Robin Downes defeated John Fuller and Lyn Lawson.
