Report Weekending 6th May 2018.
Well it’s been a very busy few weeks with Biggest Afternoon Tea which raised our biggest amount so far so a big thankyou to all the ladies who put so much time and effort into a great afternoon and a thankyou to Wendy from Lakeside Fashion for a lovely fashion parade.
We also had a few special birthdays for special ladies one being held last Sunday for Jackie who was a young 85 and another special 80th low key Birthday for our secretary Pam.

It’s also been busy on the greens with men’s pennants underway and our own Ladies Championships all taking place. We also have President/Secretary Day and our Winter Carnival fast approaching so please remember to check the notice boards for information and rosters.
Championship Results for the Minor Singles on the 24-26 and 27 April 2018 are…
D Lynch defeated M Walz, A Innes defeated D Spinks, M Dewson defeated P Cahill, A Innes defeated J Howard, V Stewart defeated D Lynch and V Hamilton had a forfeit from M Simmonds.
On the 1st and 5th May saw V Stewart defeat V Hamilton, M Dewson defeat A Innes and M Dewson defeat V Stewart.
Social bowls on the 1st May saw V Stewart, D Lynch as the lucky rink winners and M Peasnell, C Miller and M Avery as the runners up. On the 5th May L Moore and P Kelly as the lucky rink winners and V Stewart and S Malzard as the runners up.
