Kew Men’s Bowls News.

Another good round of pennants for our club with the ones, sixes, and sevens winning, the fours ran into a red hot Lake Cathie who handled the wind very well. Well done lads keep up the good work. Next week grade 1 grade travel to Tuncurry, grade 4 at home to Crescent Head, grade 6 has a bye and grade 7 at home against South West Rocks.

Monday Monthly Pairs went off very well with the new format but we need more players if we are to keep the competition going so if you can get a mate and enter our next monthly pairs on the 4th of June there is 28 spots available so enter your team for a chance at the $700 in prizes.


Winners for Monday the 7th of May were 1st Gary Hamilton and Terry Miles, 2nd Maritha Reynolds and Sue Wood, 3rd Andy Lloyd and J Davidson, 4th Leslie Faulstone and Paul Cini, 5th Frank Raczka and Ian Hodgkinson, and 6th Rod Sutton and Wayne Thrussell.

Wednesday social and picking up the cash was Denis Chiddy, John Gemmell and Ian Poole, the runner up prize went to Ray Elliott, Adrian Hilton and Terry Stringer. Voucher winners were Ron Hale, Tony Austin, Carl Young, Rod Sutton and Peter Richards.

The Classic fours are coming up on the 28th and 29th July keep that weekend free.

Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
