Saturday was again a good day with the fours and Sevens winning at home and unfortunately the ones went down at Tuncurry and the six’s had the bye.

Pennant draw this week grade 1 away to Park Beach, grade 4 home to Kempsey Heights, grade 6 home to North Haven and Grade 7 has the bye.

A game of fours was played on Sunday morning Ron Hale, Chicka Thompson, Ian McLaren and Ray Allan were too good for W Martin, Warren Bates, Paul Cini and Gary Martin, Ray’s team played consistent bowls throughout the match to record a good win.

Friday’s jackpot is now worth $550 after surviving the bowlers valiant attempt to steel it away from the treasurer so Friday the 1st of June grab a couple of mates and have a lash at winning the $550. Rink winners were Jeff Nichols, Bob the dentologist Sims and Barrie Isaac, the runner up prize went to Carl Young, Leslie Faulstone and Warren Barnes. Voucher winners were Chicka Thompson, James Race, Trevor Boyle and Warren Barnes.

Wednesday social and grabbing the loot was Adrian Hilton, Peter Richards and Ron Hale, the runner up money went to Leslie Faulstone and Jeff Nichols. Voucher winners were Chicka Thompson, Ron Hale, Ray Allan, Jeff Nichols and Ian Poole.

The Classic fours are coming up on the 28th and 29th July keep that weekend free.

Wednesday social is the bowls this names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
