Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

 A Reminder that Port City greens and spectator areas are smoke free.

2018 NSW under 25 state singles championship, played at West Tamworth earlier this month, Jai Whelan qualified for the state finals when he defeated Callum Murray 21-15 in the final of the qualifier. Finals at Cabramatta on Sunday 28 October.

In the 2018 men’s minor pairs played today (Sunday) Col Marr/Brian Richardson def Les Thompson/Rob Jennings in very trying conditions.

The men’s major/minor pairs next round is on Saturday 6th October 1pm start.

We are introducing a new monthly open pairs (3 bowl) with prize money of $800. The initial tournament will kick off on Thursday September 27th. Check  in is 8.30 am. This tournament is proudly sponsored by George & Matilda Eyecare. Entry forms are at the bowls kiosk.

The club is holding a Bowls open day on Sunday 7th October 10am – 12 noon. It is billed as a Funday in the sun for the whole family. There will be a jumping castle, face painting, sausage sizzle. Come along and see what bowls is all about.

Special announcement from Eastern Tiger Restaurant – A bowlers only lunch time special for $12.50. This is available Tuesday to Friday ( ex public holidays)

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.  Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s butchers Block.

The $1000 jackpot is still looking for a home.

Thursday:
Winners ($20) J. Myers – G. Douglas. Runners Up ($10) Tony Newell – John Breen. Lucky Losers Colin Halls – Dave Pascoe.
Jackpot reverted to $200 and was not won.

Invisible ink was used on the result sheet
