The bowls for bales day on Saturday was a great success with $2267 raised the Laurieton Rotary club cooked the snags and onions for lunch and Charles Doyle did a wonderful job with auctioneering all round a great day was had by all.
The participants in the minor singles final has been decided Trevor Robb who defeated Peter Laing and Pat O’Connor who defeated Stewart Wellard in their semi-finals matches the best of luck to Trevor and Pat in the final. The final will be played on Wednesday morning weather permitting.
Wednesday social and escaping out the door with their winnings was Peter Richards, Warren Barnes and Mick the biscuit eater Ashford, the runner up prize went to Daryle James, Tony Austin and Dean Gemmell. Voucher winners were John Gemmell, Barrie Isaac, Gary Hamilton and John Hilton.

Wednesday social and Friday jackpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
