There was no Monday’s BBQ Mixed Social Bowls as the ladies played their Spring Carnival.
Thursday Winners were George Ganic, John Jarvis and Bill Bailey. The runners-up were Richard Cowin, Warren Dark and Geoff Delamotte. The lucky losers being Bill Metcalfe, Keith Lawton and Ron Campbell. Saturday winners were Peter Slattery and Bill Mahon with the Runners-Up being Geoff Worley and Denis Begley.
The Mixed Fours (Round1): Steve Philp, Wendy Byers, Steve Grimshaw and Joye Grimshaw def. Ross and Liz Fuller, Lynn Lawson, and John Fuller. Bob Fischer, Judi Blackler, Di Fischer and Gary Blackler. def. Brian Gorman, Keith Woods, Mary Simmonds and Robyn Jones. (Round2): Pat Murphy, Charles Duthie, Marj Peasnell and Roy Peasnell def. Steve Webster, Di Batts, Glenda Webster, and Ron Allen.
Congratulations to Lynne Thompson, Di Fischer and Ann Wilson who were runners-up to Taren Point in the final of the state triples in Sydney. Great performance ladies.
