The final of the minor singles was played on Wednesday morning Trevor Robb and Pat O’Connor battled it out in what was a top game worthy of any final but alas there could only be one winner and Trevor came home strongly to defeat Pat. Congratulations to you both on a fine display of sportsmanship and again a great game of bowls.
Friday jackpot triples had no winner for the big one but the runner up money went off $150 walked out the door in the pockets of George Ganic, John Jarvis and Bill Bailey well done lad’s thanks for the support. Vouchers went to Dean Gemmell, Howard Burrows, Stewart Rogan and Stewart Wellard. The jackpot will be worth $330 on Friday the 21st of September.
20 teams played in the Monday monthly pairs the $700 jackpot did not go off therefor it will be worth $800 on Monday the 1st of October. Gary Hamilton and big Kev Wholohan came in in first place, 2nd John and Dean Gemmell, 3rd Andy Lloyd and Gary McLachlan, 4th Stewart Wellard and Brian Charters, 5th Jeff Nichols and Bill O’Donnell and 6th place Rob Edwards and Graham Conen.
Wednesday social and heading to the bank with their winnings was Peter Richards, Ian Hilton and Budgie Brecard, the runner up loot went to John Hilton, Ian Hodgkinson and Reggie Robb. Voucher winners were Terry Duff, Ray Darcy, Frank Raczka and Adrian Hilton.
Wednesday social is the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start mufti dress all welcome.
