Dress code for social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

Congratulations to Don Ramsay on winning the 2018 men’s minor singles defeating Peter Ascott-Evans 25-4. Don is having a real purple patch at the moment. 

In the 2018 men’s minor pairs semi finals Col Marr to play Chris Thornton and Les Scholz to play Les Thompson. The semi will be played on Saturday 15th September at 1 pm.

Entries are open for the 2018 major/minor pairs. Sheet is on the board.

We are introducing a new monthly open pairs ( 3 bowl) with prize money of $800. The initial tournament will kick off on Thursday September 27th. Check in is 8.30 am. This tournament is proudly sponsored by George & Matilda Eyecare. Entry forms are at the bowls kiosk.

Today ( Sunday 9th) we held the monster fundraiser :Bowls 4 Bales.to raise money for the drought affected communities. The day was a combined effort by club ltd, men’s and ladies. The travelling bowlers did a great job in hosting the day. I believe in excess of $8000 was raised.

Don’t forget Club Ltd AGM is on Saturday 15th September at 9.30.

Special announcement from Eastern Tiger Restaurant – A bowlers only lunch time special for $12.50. This is available Tuesday to Friday ( ex public holidays)

Don’t forget the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm. Ask for our special deals when buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Coppy’s butchers Block.
