RDA and Wespac will hold a fundraiser on Sunday the 7th of October starting at 1pm you will need to have your names in by 11am on the day the cost is $12 per single entry or $25 per family come on out to Kew Country Club and help these worthy organizations, bowls and coaching will be available if needed call the club on 65594203 to enter.
Friday jackpot triples and the jackpot keeps getting bigger it is now worth $366 on Friday the 5th of October. Rink winners were Frank Fuzzy Raczka, Ian Hodgkinson and Trevor Boyle, the runner up dosh went to George Ganic, John Jarvis and Bill Bailey. Voucher winners were Ray Allan, Trevor Robb, Dave Napper and Barrie Isaac.
Wednesday afternoon saw 4 games of major minor pairs plus social bowls in the major minor pairs Reggie Robb and Brian Charters def Ian Hilton and Rod Sutton, Ron Hale and Dean Gemmell def Bob Sims and Terry Duff, Chicka Thompson and Kevin Wholohan def Sparra Cheers who subbed for John Brown and Peter Laing and Frank Fuzzy Raczka and John Gemmell def Adrian Hilton and Dave Napper. Rink winners were Reggie Robb and Frosty, the runner up prize went to Sparra Cheers and Peter Laing and the vouchers winners were Tony Austin, Steve Hall, Ray Allan, Dan Thomas, Budgie Brecard, Paris Hilton and Barrie Isaac.
Monday monthly pairs are on the 1st of October it is open to men, women and mixed so grab a mate and enjoy a day on the greens at the friendly club.
Wednesday social and Saturday cashpot triples are the bowls this week names in by 11.30 12.30 start both days mufti dress all welcome.
