Report for Tuesday 8th August 2017
Tuesday Mixed Bowls - 9.30 am start - Uniform or neat and casual . Welcome all members and visitors to this competition. Come along and enjoy a pleasant morning of bowls with a happy group of players . Margaret And Ron Coombes can be contacted on mobile 0422816063 if you would like to come and enjoy a morning game of bowls . All visitors welcome . Bowlers to meet upstairs at the Club Community room before bowls . Winners were M. Coombes ,P. Cummings, B. Farrell, M. Moore. Raffle winners were P. Fraser, C . Anthes , K. Rivet . No jackpot winners today .
Thursday 10th August
Our Westport Women's carnival was held today with spectacular weather if a bit windy in the afternoon . Some fantastic bowls was played . Eventual winners were from our club ! Elaine Taylor , Denise Penny and Lesley Godson . Well played girls and a big thank you to Carol Chandler for all your work and to all the Executive and committee .

To all who are not feeling the best , we wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you back on the green . A big get better to Di Parry who had a nasty fall at home and had a stint in hospital. Hope your Bowls hand mends quickly!
