Hi all well here goes another rough attempt to keep everyone up to date with what happens at the club.
Wednesday social results saw John Brown, Terry Stringer and Mick Bate take the money the runner up prize went to Des Hancox, Howard Burrows and Ian Hilton. Voucher winners Ross Bate, John Smith, Doug Long and Leslie Faulstone.
Saturday was AGM day and Barrie Isaac will lead us for another 12 Months. Chicka Thompson is the new Vice President the committee Mick Stuttard, Eddie McPhee, Gary Martin, Ian Poole, Tony Austin and Ron Hale. Pennant selectors Charles Doyle, Doug Long and Chicka Thompson. Bowls Organiser Doug Long. Congratulations to all new and old who will lead the club for 2017/2018.
Saturday after the AGM 2 13 end games of two bowl triples was played and Pat O’Connor, Bob Carey and Brian Milton 2nd was Mick Ashford, Warren Barnes and Chicka Thompson, 3rd went to Mick Stuttard, Ian Poole and Leslie Faulstone.

Minor singles results Pat O’Connor def Ian Hilton, John Gemmell def Peter Laing and Frank Raczka def Warren Barnes.
The semi-final of the major singles was played on Sunday morning Barrie Isaac played Dean Gemmell in a classic game of bowls and what a shame there can only be one winner Barrie was the victor and will play Charles Doyle on Saturday morning at 10 am this should be a cracker of a game and may the best man win.
Happy birthday to Oscar Garland who will turn 96 on Wednesday come out and give Ossie a cheer for his Birthday.
Wednesday social and Friday jackpot is on this week get your names in by 11.30 for a 12.30 start both days all welcome. Call the club on 65594203 for all enquiries.
