Dress code for
social bowls is club uniform/creams or clean smart casual, with collared shirt
and neat shorts/slacks. No tank tops or singlets

Draw is on the
board for the 2017 club minor pairs. First round Saturday 2nd
September.
Entries are
open for the 2017 club major/minor pairs. Entries close September 18th
Markers are
required for CHS V NSW Juniors September 12- 14th.
Champion of
Club Champions ( pairs) is currently
being played at Hibbard. The latest info I have is that Greg Brims/Danny
Barrett def B. McPherson/ J. Steel (MKS) 26-6 in the first round, then defeated
G. Smith/ R. Boulter (SWR) 21- 16 in the second round. In the semi they are to
play T. Weber/ H. Aladjadjian (SH)

Come along and
enjoy the bowls or alternatively if you have a few hours to spare volunteer as
a “helper”. See one of the committee as to what is involved.
We are a bit
short on news this week , so for all you Hull supporters Hull City (Tigers) def
Bolton Wanderers 4 – 0. And in the league Hull def Wigan 18 – 14 in the
challenge cup final at Wembley.
The new winter
jackets have arrived – they look smart too. See Phil Baker to buy one ( They
are currently on special for a short time )
The PCMBC bowls
calendar for July/ August is on the
board. The full 2017 calendar is on our bowls web site under “Calendar 17”.
Don’t forget
the men’s meat raffle every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at
7pm. Ask for our special deals when
buying tickets. Meat trays are proudly supplied by Wiggly Tail Butchery. Also
club ltd badge draw at 7 and 8 pm currently stands at $2000.

Free coaching
is available on Saturday and Sunday mornings ( bowls provided). Contact the

Social Bowls: Please note we
would encourage social bowlers be back in the club by 4pm to allow for a timely
presentation and raffles. No dead ends. Thank you for your co operation.
