HAPPENINGS

Today we had lovely weather and had great fun and all games were played in terrific spirit.

The Club triples final was played today 22 August 2017. It was a very close game With Jeanice Schiemers’ team winning on the very last end.

Congratulations to Port City Pennant Players. Cabramatta went on to win the State flag. It was a good performance from everybody and the girls performed to a high standard.

Further congratulations belong to Lynne Thompson who has been selected to play in Regional Singles and is also trying out for the state over 60s team.

Get your Flyers for versatility 5s, play will be 18 and 19 of September.

Don’t forget to check out the Major/ Minor Draws on the notice board.

Remember that 9.30am Starts are on Tuesdays only, Thursday and Saturday games start at 9.00 am.

Daffodil day is next Tuesday 29 August, we would like to have a trading table and would appreciate any donations and/or Baked goodies.

It was great to see so many of our people who travelled to support our Pennant players. Thanks to the match committee and the Umpires.
