HAPPENINGS

We had a great turnout today with 54 players in all. It was a glorious winters day. We would like to welcome our new bowler Kath Woodham who started today and was happy to be presented with a club cap. She thanked Margaret Doyle for coaching her.

Round two of club triples were played today 8 August 2017. There were two very close games, and both were won by only one shot.

Congratulations and good luck to our teams travelling to the Entrance for the state pennant playoffs to be held on Tuesday 15 august. Social bowls will still be played.

Entries for Major, Minor pairs are open. It will be played on August 29^th, check out he list on the noticeboard.  More minor players needed for this event so please give

It a go (Entries close 15 August).

Get your Flyers for versatility 5s which will be out this week. Play will be 18 and 19 of September.

Club Triples: Margaret Walsh's team has won through to the semis which will be played on 19 August 2017.  Debbie Amor's team are awaiting the winners of that game.

The jackpot was not won today so the jackpot next week will be more than $250.

We wish Margaret Doyle all the best for her knee surgery tomorrow. Also, great to hear Mary Bennett is recovering well after her recent hospital visit.
