Lake Cathie Women’s Bowling Club Report Weekending 13th August 2017.
Well I must say we can’t complain about the weather for our games of bowls over the last few weeks which has made the greens nice and fast.
The results for weekending 13th August are…
Social Bowls on the 8th August saw the lucky rink winners of P Tye, F Croombe and D Fischer and the runners up were J Matthews, A Armstrong and E Blueming.
Then on Saturday the 12th August the lucky rink winners were J Wilson, D Spinks and N Scott with the runners up of J Matthews and S Proctor.
Triple Championship results for Tuesday 8th August are P Flatman, J Blackler, and W Byers defeating R Anstee, P Gibbons and P Murphy.
J Wilson, D Spinks and N Scott defeated L Gentles, A Wilson and J Roberts.
L Watson, H White and H Durrant defeated A Todd, E Fuller (sub) and S Malzard.
Saturday 12th August game saw D Flatman, J Blackler and W Byers defeat F Brassey, D Fischer and P Begley in a very nail biting game till the end.
Don’t forget to get those entries in for the spring carnival it’s just around the corner.
It’s been a great few weeks for our trade table, thankyou to the many people who cook, donate and make things the result has been fantastic.
