REPORT FOR TUESDAY 18^th APRIL, 2017

TUESDAY MORNING MIXED BOWLS – 9.30am start – Uniform or neat casual. Welcome all members and visitors to this competition. Come along and enjoy a pleasant morning of bowls with a happy group of players. Another good roll up this morning, played under clear blue sky!! Winners were A. Kirk, Elaine Hankin, Maureen Moore and Bette Whiting. Lucky raffle winners were Carol Chandler and Jackpot winners were Ron Coombes and his team.  Margaret and Ron Coombes can be contacted on 6581 3264 or 0422816063 if you would like to come and enjoy a morning game of bowls. All visitors welcome. Bowlers to meet upstairs at the Club in the Community room before bowls.

REPORT FOR THURSDAY 20^th APRIL, 2017

THURSDAY MORNING LADIES DAY – 9.30am start –Uniform. Selectors for Thursday 27^th April 2017 are Leonie Laws (0422496128) and Sue Smith (0423687106). Water and flag roster for Thursday 27^th Lesley Godson and Carol Chandler.  Thank you to Debbie from Perfect Nails by Debbie for her ongoing support. Winners on rink 9 Di Stansfield, Joy Hindson, Ruth Creed and Colleen Purnell.  Runners up also on Rink 9 Carol Chandler, Jean Edwards, Colleen Watt and Elaine Taylor. Raffle winners Colleen Watt, Jan Fleming, Sue Smith and Maureen Allen. Jackpot not won. Congratulations to Geraldine Lavender who won the Major Singles to-day with Anna Zhao runner up. Well done girls it was a great game to watch.

AUGUST CARNIVAL:

Unfortunately we have to change our August Carnival to one day only. This will be Thursday 10^th August, 2017. Brochures have been sent out and one emailed to Brian Smith to attach to this report. TWO DAY MIXED PAIRS CARNIVAL JUNE 2017

On Saturday 3^rd June, 2017 and Sunday 4^th June 2017, we are holding a two day Mixed Pairs carnival with prize money of $5000.  Entry fee will be $80 per team for the two days.
