WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 23rd APRIL,
2017
A disappointing start
to the Pennant play-of season with our Grade 3 team losing to Kempsey on
Saturday after leading for much of the match. They have a chance to redeem
themselves against Hat Head next Saturday.
In the meantime, Grade
6 is up against Macksville in their first game on Saturday and Grade 7 play
Wauchope. Good luck and good bowling to all.
Phil Smith and Doug
Porter won through to the next round of the Minor Pairs Championship on Sunday.
Winning rink on Monday
went to Nola Hall, Roger Hall and Pam Begley. Lucky losers were Mary and Russ
Simmonds.
With a brilliant
display of bowling, Thursday’s winners were Richard Springett, Bruce Saunders
and Ray Downes. Runners-up were Ray Stokmanis, Derek Wright and Paul Dewson.
Good to see you back on the green Paul. Lucky losers were john Potts, David
Foster and Frank Ryan.
Saturday’s grinners
were Bill Mahon, Les Perry, Max Heslehurst and Mike O’Neill. John Morgan and
Dick Engel were the lucky losers.
