Social bowls on Tuesday 18th April saw L Watson, P
Gibbons and L Gentles as the rink winners and the runners up were K Deas, M
Duhigg and A Armstrong.
Social bowls on Saturday 22nd April saw J Blackler
and S Malzard as our lucky rink winners and P Begley and J Grimshaw as the
runners up with fine weather still with us for both days.
Skins was played on Wednesday 19th April with only
1 green attended. The results for the day were rink winners of G Blackler. R
Simmonds. The runner up was Lyn Thompson with the outright winner of Anne
Wilson.
We also had some very good games of the Major singles played
this week. Results for the games played on 18th April saw H Durrnat
defeat A Butlin, J Blackler defeat P Kelly, D Fischer defeat A Wilson and on
Saturday 22nd April saw J Roberts defeat H Durrant.
Don’t forget the carnivals are approaching so please think
about teams and get your entries to Judy Blackler soon.
