WESPORT WOMEN’S BOWLING CLUB

REPORT FOR TUESDAY 28^THMARCH, 2017

TUESDAY MORNING MIXED BOWLS – 9.30am start – Uniform or neat casual. Welcome all members and visitors to this competition. Come along and enjoy a pleasant morning of bowls with a happy group of players.  Rain did not stop play this morning and it was great to see 35 happy bowlers enjoying the break in the weather. Margaret and Ron Coombes can be contacted on 6581 3264 or 0422816063 if you would like to come and enjoy a morning game of bowls. All visitors welcome. Bowlers to meet upstairs at the Club in the Community room before bowls. Winners today were Ella Wright, Jenny Crisp Kevin McMurtrie and Peter Burton. Raffle winners were Carol Chandler, Ron Coombes and Jenny Crisp. Jackpot not won.

REPORT FOR THURSDAY 30th MARCH, 2017

THURSDAY MORNING LADIES DAY – 9.30am start –Uniform. Selectors for Thursday 6^th April 2017 are Leonie Laws (0422496128) and Colleen Purnell (65840396). Water and flag roster for Thursday 6^th April, 2017 are Di Todd and Lesley Godson or any Committee member who is not playing pennant on that day. Thank you to Debbie from Perfect Nails by Debbie for her ongoing support. Thursday bowls were washed out. Teams from Lake Cathie, Panthers and Port City all turned up hoping to play. These teams are now required to play next Thursday 6^th April, 2017 at our club. Best of luck to all players.

REMINDERS:

1. First round of the Club Singles on Wednesday 5^th April roll up 8.50 play 9.10.

2. Major Pairs close on Monday 24^th April, 2017, first round Wednesday 3^rd May, 2017

TWO DAY MIXED PAIRS CARNIVAL JUNE 2017

On Saturday 3^rd June, 2017 and Sunday 4^th June 2017, we are holding a two day Mixed Pairs carnival with prize money of $5000.  Entry fee will be $80 per team for the two days.
