WESPORT WOMEN’S BOWLING CLUB

REPORT FOR TUESDAY 21^st MARCH, 2017

TUESDAY MORNING MIXED BOWLS – 9.30am start – Uniform or neat casual. Welcome all members and visitors to this competition. Come along and enjoy a pleasant morning of bowls with a happy group of players.  Rain washed the games out today. Margaret and Ron Coombes can be contacted on 6581 3264 or 0422816063 if you would like to come and have a happy game of bowls. All visitors welcome. Bowlers to meet upstairs at the Club in the Community room before bowls.

REPORT FOR THURSDAY 23^rd MARCH, 2017

THURSDAY MORNING LADIES DAY – 9.30am start –Uniform. Selectors for Thursday 30^th March are Di Irving (65826262) or Carol Owen (0405417994). Water and flag roster for Thursday 30^th March are Carol Chandler or Faye Laut or any Committee member who is not playing pennant on that day. Thank you to Debbie from Perfect Nails by Debbie for her ongoing support. Winners today were Colleen Watt, Carol Chandler, Julie Fraser and Jean Edwards. Runners up were Carol Owen, Colleen Jukes, Colleen Purnell and Denise Penney.  Raffle winners were Collen Jukes, Nancy Burns and Sylvia McCallum.

Thursday 30^th March is our last day of Pennant, we may have to play some washed out games, but we are now getting ready for our Championships to start.

REMINDER: First round of the Club Singles on Wednesday 5^th April roll up 8.50 play 9.10.

AUGUST CARNIVAL:

Unfortunately we have to change our August Carnival to one day only. This will be Thursday 10^th August, 2017. Brochures will be available very soon.

TWO DAY MIXED PAIRS CARNIVAL JUNE 2017

On Saturday 3^rd June, 2017 and Sunday 4^th June 2017, we are holding a two day Mixed Pairs carnival with prize money of $5000.  Entry fee will be $80 per team for the two days.
