PORT PANTHERS MEN'S BOWLING CLUB NEWS REPORT
Report for  w/e Sunday 12/3/17

Not a good start to the week cyclonic wind conditions made it difficult with  bowlers forced to dodge the odd blue cattle dog that had been blown off the proverbial chain. Any way despite this the personnel manned up and had a good time.

Reminder Tuesday for  Men's pairs, Thursday for triples , casual dress & 1pm start, a single entry  is fine.
Winners on Tuesday were -G. Evans & D .Hickling - Runners up B. Fairhall & R. Brittain - lucky losers D. Carr & Rollup.
The men's jackpot was not won by team Millward, "great result" was apparently  heard to be muttered by Phil Ross, who just happened to be skip of the Thursday winning team of J. Hayes B. Moodie & P. Ross, they claimed the prize of $228, next week back to $20.

Thursday winners were - T. Bynon, D. Proctor and R. Kemp, runners up J. Innes, R. Millward & R. Brittain, lucky losers prize went to F. Wolleston, K. Dinham & D. Hickling.

Pennant results from Saturday, 2's & 7's won, 6's narrow loss.

The club 4's will be played next Sunday between W. Andersons and J. Obriens teams.

Don't forget meat raffles Wednesday and Friday, tickets on sale 5.30 raffle start 6pm.

On Saturday Ken. Whittaker had his 80th, congrats Keno. He celebrated in fine style in the barn at Hibbards, there seemed to be hundreds of his family and friends there from all parts of Australia, all enjoyed themselves, lots of frivolity, refreshments and many lies & memories swapped. Great time he apparently has invited all back.
