Saturday the first of September the Kew Country Club will hold a bowls for bales day to help raise funds for our drought affected farmers $12.50 per person that includes a sausage sizzle. Start time 9.30 for a 10am start every dollar raised will go to support our farmers this is an initiative of Rotary of Laurieton in conjunction with Rotary of Narrabri. Book at KCC on 65594203.
Don’t forget the Monday monthly pairs on the 3rd of September grab a mate and have a go, the jackpot is worth $700 and the prize money is $700 come along and enjoy the friendly club.
Wednesday social and heading to the bank with the cash was John Hilton, Reggie Robb and Ian Hodgkinson, picking up the runner up prize was Adrian Hilton, Bob Sims and Darren Darcy. Voucher winners were Frank Raczka, Ian Poole and Jeff Nichols.
In the minor singles Pat O’Connor def Leslie Faulstone Pat will now play Stewart Wellard for a place in the final.
The Friday Jackpot did not go off but the runner up prize of $150 went to Ian Hilton, Stewart Rogan and Rod Sutton, the next jackpot on Friday the 7th of September will be worth $300. Voucher winners were Rod Sutton, Frosty, Bob Sims and Rob Edwards.
